QUICK, DUST FREE INSTALLATION OF LVT ONTO OLD SUBSTRATES.

With UZIN RenoTop PLUS and UZIN KE 66.

With UZIN RenoTop PLUS, UZIN offers a multi-layer subfloor system that provides effective acoustic insulation and future removal without leaving residues. Since new flooring must frequently be installed in lived-in or used rooms, the installation of the subfloor should disturb the end user as little as possible. UZIN RenoTop PLUS enables the installer to create a subfloor that can be directly exposed to loads and is ready for floor covering without high levels of noise or dust. UZIN RenoTop PLUS consists of a support panel and top panel, which includes a contact adhesive applied at the factory. UZIN RenoTop PLUS is suitable for subsequent installation of a variety of floor coverings.

After cleaning the area, install sheets of UZIN PE-foil over the floor and 75 mm up the surrounding walls ensuring a 20 cm overlap over any joints. Then install UZIN Alutape 75, aluminium tape over all joints.

Separate the support and top panels from each other by bending them slightly.

For the first row, cut the support panels in half so they measure 1200 mm long by 300 mm wide. Using a half moon blade cut through the top side and break off. Next, cut through the XPS foam with a second cut.

Cut a support panel to 900 mm long by 300 mm wide and install first in the first row. Install 1200 mm by 300 mm support panels adjacently. Then cut a support panel to 600 mm long by 300 mm wide and install first in the second row. Install 1200 mm by 600 mm support panels adjacently.

Install the panels tightly together and ensure any production edges are butted together. Keep an adequate distance (approx. 10 mm) to the wall. Start with the installation of the top panels after the installation of the first two rows of support panels. Remove the protective adhesive film from the support panel.

Install the top panels offset to the support panel; the first row begins with a 1200 mm by 600 mm panel and the second row with a 600 mm by 600 mm panel. All joints of the support panel are covered by this offset, which produces the extraordinary stability of UZIN RenoTop PLUS.

Insert the top panels into the adhesive on the support panel and tap down over the whole surface with a rubber mallet. Install the UZIN RenoTop PLUS support and top panels in this manner over the entire surface. Finally, roll over the surface with a heavy pressure roller.

Slightly sand the butt joints by hand and vacuum off the floor before starting to install the floor covering. The new floor covering must be installed within 48 hours of installing UZIN RenoTop PLUS. (Reno- Top PLUS is suitable for the installation of LVT, textile floor covering, PVC and multi-ply wood flooring).

On the RenoTop PLUS Mark the starting point of the first row of planks or tiles with a suitable pen. Spread UZIN KE 66 fibrereinforced adhesive over the surface using notch size A2 along the reference line.

Without bending, install the planks or tiles within the short open time along the reference line and press down firmly by hand. After the installation, roll over the whole area using the WOLFF pressure roller. Cut off any protruding remnants of the PE film after the installation of the floor covering.
